Surfside Timetable for Route 605 from Tweed Heads (Tweed Mall) to Murwillumbah

From Gold Coast (Coolangatta Airport) take the (Free) shuttle bus and tell the driver you want to go to 'Tweed Mall in Tweed Heads to catch a bus to Murwillumbah'. The driver will take you to a bus-stop over the road just outside the airport, where many buses travel on their way to Tweed Mall at Tweed Heads. The driver will tell you the number of the bus to catch, and when it will arrive. Take that bus (quite cheap - price here soon! - best to pay for the full journey here and ~hang on to your ticket~ you'll need it for the Murwillumbah leg) and go to Tweed Mall at Tweed Heads and wait there at the 'far end' bus stop for the Murwillumbah bus (605). (N.B: PLEASE remember that MONDAY 25th is ANZAC DAY - a Public Holiday & so Sunday Timetable applies).

From Brisbane Airport take the Airtrain to Robina ($22.80 Adult, $17.80 Pensioner, $11.40 Child), then ask at the enquiry counter there about a bus to Tweed Mall at Tweed Heads. You will have to transfer at least once. More info to follow.

From Tweed Heads It's quite a scenic vista to observe for the hour-or-so journey as you chant quietly... The route terminates at Knox Park, near a roundabout.

To reach the Festival venue from there it will take ten minutes on foot. Cross the road safely towards the large brick cinema building (not the Sunnyside shopping centre), and keep going ahead past the Regent 5-star Supermarket, the car sales showroom and Proudfoots Lane, and after the Post Office turn left, then after passing the Fire Station turn right. Over the small hill you'll see playing fields.. go past 'Taylor's Corner', around the curve to the left, and ahead you'll see the Murwillumbah Showgrounds. Our Festival will be held at the far end .. you should see the signs by now.
