~Getting to the Festival Site~
By Air, Car & Bus

airports -
Brisbane Airport - 2 hrs drive, or
Gold Coast (Coolangatta) Airport - 45 minutes drive.

~Getting to the Festival by Train or Bus~

From Brisbane Airport

There are three different options. They are listed here in order of convenience:

Option 1: Airport Shuttle Services

No.1) Byron Bay Shuttle – Please try this first as it is most easy for us to pick you up from here.
Departs from Brisbane Airport and stops at Melaleuca Station which is 15mins drive from Murwillumbah. If you tell us your arrival time in advance we can arrange for someone to pick you up.

No.2) Coachtrans
Departs from Brisbane Airport and stops at Coolangatta on the Gold Coast (ask to be dropped at Coolangatta Sands Hotel) which is 30mins drive from Murwillumbah. If you tell us your arrival time in advance we can arrange for someone to pick you up.

Option 2: Buses from Brisbane City

From the airport, catch the Airtrain to Roma St Station (Transit Centre) in Brisbane. The train cost is $13 Adults, $6.50 Children between 5 & 14yrs. Alternatively you can catch a taxi to the bus station for approx $30 – this would be good for groups.

From the Roma St Transit Centre catch a bus directly to Murwillumbah Railway Station. Bus details are listed below and require prior booking. Trains leave every 30mins, and do not require booking, however you can make a booking online to coordinate the train times with your arrival time and bus time: www.airtrain.com.au

Option 3: Train to Gold Coast + Bus Transfers

Take the Airtrain to Robina ($25.80 Adult, $12.40 Child), then ask at the enquiry counter there about a bus to Tweed City Shopping Centre at Tweed Heads. After arriving at Tweed City Shopping Centre you will need to get a 605 Murwillumbah bus (timetable below).

From Gold Coast (Coolangatta Airport)

Option 1: Contact us with your arrival time and we will try to arrange someone to pick you up.

Option 2: Airport Shuttle Service

Departs from the Coolangatta Airport and takes you directly to Murwillumbah.

by road - Murwillumbah is well signposted on the Pacific Highway (Highway #1) from both the North and South. If driving from the North, take the Tweed Valley Way turnoff after passing Coolangatta and Tweed. From the South you can take the earlier turnoff to Murwillumbah and cross the hilly Burringbar Ranges into town, or wait for the (much) later exit and cruise alongside the Tweed River into town.
